How to Use

For optimal results, shake the can thoroughly for 2-3 minutes before use. Hold the spray can about 25cm from the surface and apply in thin, even layers. Allow 2 minutes of drying time between each pass to avoid drips. You can apply Rust Effect Brown followed by Rust Effect Brown Orange for a more layered and organic rust look. Once applied, allow 24 hours for the paint to cure before applying any other coatings. Always test on a non-visible area to check compatibility with other paints or finishes. For best results on polystyrene surfaces, pre-prime with Montana Styrofoam Primer. Keep in mind that the ideal working temperature is between 10°C and 25°C, and make sure to protect the surrounding area from spray mist during application.
