The paint is made from an Acrylic-Nitro Combination base and dries to a semi-gloss, hard-wearing finish that remains flexible even after curing. The Montana Metallic Effect is designed for versatility and is ideal for use with Montana Gold, Montana Black, and Montana Acrylic marker lines. It offers excellent lightfastness, ensuring long-lasting vibrancy for your projects.

How to Use

For best results, shake the can vigorously for approximately 3 minutes before use. Hold the can 15-20 centimetres away from the surface and apply in thin, even layers, varying your strokes from vertical to horizontal with each pass. Re-shake the can between intervals to ensure the pigment is well-mixed. For enhanced colour depth, pre-prime the surface with a similar Montana Gold colour. Montana Metallic Effect Spray is best applied at temperatures between 10°C and 15°C.

Drying times typically range from 10 minutes for dust-dry, 20 minutes for touch-dry, and 24 hours for total curing. Please note that drying times may vary depending on room temperature and humidity levels. Once fully cured, you can top-coat your work with Montana Varnish in Gloss, Semi-Gloss, or Matte for added protection. Avoid exposing objects painted with Metallic Effect colours to temperatures above 80°C.
