How to Use

Apply a suitable base coat first, such as Montana GOLD or Montana WHITE, ensuring the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or rust. Allow the base coat to dry for at least 45 minutes but no longer than 24 hours before applying Montana CRACKLE. Shake the can thoroughly for 2–3 minutes prior to use. Spray using cross-coating motions, applying from left to right and then up and down for even crack formation. The crackling effect begins as the paint dries, revealing the underlying colour beneath. For more intense crack patterns, apply a second layer after approximately 5 minutes. Allow the coating to cure fully for 24 hours before top-coating or further handling. For best results, apply between +10°C and +25°C and always test on a non-visible area before full application.
